The Travel Trunk Project
TheTravel Trunk, entitled "A Child's Life," has no funds. Hence, it has not gone into the classrooms in the Sumner County school system in two years.
Due to the lack of presenters and time restrictions on the Director, the trunk has not been shown in the Museum. Hopefully, sometime in the near future it may return either to the Museum or if funding becomes available, it can go back into the classrooms.
The trunk is an old trunk that holds 1800's clothing, toys, hats, candles, etc. that the children may touch. The presentation for the entire trunk is about one hour in length.
