Gallatin is about 30 miles northeast of Nashville. There are two ways to get to Gallatin from the interstate system in Tennessee.
1) From Nashville go east on I-40 to Exit 232, Highway 109 North to Gallatin. This is about 13 minutes from Gallatin. Stay on 109N until you reach the first red light after crossing river bridge. Continue straight (on South Water Avenue) until you reach Gallatin's Public Square. Turn left at the stop light and go two blocks to the next stop light. Turn left on Locust Street and the Museum is on the left behind Trousdale Place.
2) From Nashville go north on I-65 to Exit 95. This is Highway 386 or Vietnam Veterans Boulevard. Stay on this road until it ends at Highway 174 at a stop light (Long Hollow Pike). Continue on 174 until it dead ends at Highway 25 (Red River Road). Turn right on 25 and continue to the second red light. This is Locust Street. Turn right on Locust Street and the Museum is on the left behind Trousdale Place.
If you are traveling I-40 west toward Nashville just reverse the direction and go to the exit number above. Traveling south on I-65 take Exit 112, Highway 25. Stay on 25 until you reach Gallatin, then turn right at second red light on Locust Street and the Museum is on the left behind Trousdale Place.
